Barely Conscious
Sometimes when I’m asked what I do for a living I’ll answer, “I help people discover their level of consciousness.” It’s always fun to see what kind of response I’ll get. I think sometimes people get a picture in their mind of an EMS crew trying to determine if their patient is going to make it to the hospital. To some degree it is an interesting parallel, in that for the most part the level of consciousness in the world today is not nearly as high as it could be.
However, when I speak of consciousness I am really referring to your awareness and perception of yourself and the world around you. At the degree that we become conscious and aware of how different levels of energy show up in our lives, we can begin to be at choice concerning our own level of energy.
We know from the study of quantum physics that everything is energy, and how we perceive and relate to that energy affects everything within the realm of our experience.
There are seven levels of energy that span the scale from the very lowest level, (apathy), to the very highest level (absolute passion), and all of the levels in between. When we choose to shift from the lower levels of energy to higher levels we make a choice for health, happiness and fulfillment.
The first step in making a shift is just becoming aware of where we are energetically, and we become aware by first being present. Being here, now.
Being present takes practice. No one lives in the present moment 100% of the time, the real talent is in being able to notice when one is not present, and bring oneself back into the present moment. You can find a few tips on being present here.
This post begins a 6 part series that will attempt to give you, the reader, a better understanding of energy, consciousness, and an understanding of how energy affects our consciousness. If you want to affect and inform your entire life experience, as well as learn some information on how we can be at choice regarding the energy levels we experience and create the life we desire, stay tuned…
Here’s to the present moment,
Cindie
